Crisis Management and Recovery

art by Chelsea Li
Find steadiness during difficult times.
In moments of crisis, peace often comes from knowing you’ve done your best: facing the situation with honesty, courage, and humility. While it’s never easy, staying true to your values during hard times helps you stay connected to your sense of purpose and who you truly are.
This 14-week psychotherapy program is here to support you through a challenging time in your life. Together, we’ll help you show up as your best self, even at the worst of times.
Through this program, we will work together to:
- Understand and name the crisis you’re facing as it unfolds.
- Create and adjust a vision for how you’d like things to resolve.
- Identify the limitations and unknowns in your current situation.
- Build a steady, thoughtful way of responding (rather than reacting).
- Stay connected to your values, goals, and who you want to be.
- Learn how to reflect and check in with yourself and others during the process.
- Practice ways of preparing for surprises or setbacks.
- Find rest and draw strength from parts of your life that are still steady and supportive.
What approach do we use?
This program combines several proven therapy approaches to offer support that is personal and practical:
- Person-Centered Therapy – We’ll explore your situation in your own words, without judgment or pressure.
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) – You’ll map your emotional world, what you’re feeling, what you need, and how you respond to stress.
- Internal Family Systems (IFS) – You’ll learn to better understand the different parts of yourself, so you can feel more centered and communicate more clearly with yourself and others.
Sliding scale: $65 – $150 per session
(That’s $910 – $2100 for the full 14-week program)
You choose what you can afford.

Next steps
This may be your first time reaching out for psychotherapy services. If that is the case, here are some suggestions on what to include in your first message:
- High level information about who you are and your goals.
- Any questions you may have about my approach, or experience with specific concerns.
I suggest you do not:
- Share any confidential information as this form is not secure.
- Describe in your concern, or background in great detail.
What to expect from psychotherapy
We will work together over a few sessions to get to know each other, your concern and how it impacts your life.
You may have clear objectives or not know what you want to get out of therapy at first. As we work together, we are likely to discover new surprising dimensions about your life, your concern, and your skills to face your concern.
